The Accu-Clear ® Pregnancy Test strips detect the presence of hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotrophin), which increases rapidly in the early stages of pregnancy. Just place the test into the urine sample, and if you are pregnant, two colored lines will appear to show hCG has been detected. Accu-Clear ® Pregnancy Test strips are designed to detect hCG as early as 5 days before your expected period, i.e. as early as 6 days before the day of your missed period 1 .
• Always read the instructions on the leaflet carefully before testing.
• The unopened test can be stored at room temperature (up to 30°C/86°F). Do not freeze.
• Do not open foil pouch until sample is collected and you are ready to start the test.
• Do not use if the foil pouch is torn or not sealed.
• Do not use if the test is past the indicated expiration date.
This kit contains 40 pouches. Each pouch contains one test and a desiccant. Note: The desiccant is for storage purposes only and is not used in the test procedure.
1. A timer (watch or clock)
2. A clean, dry container to collect your urine sample.
• If testing from the day your period is due, you can test any time of day.
• If testing early, use the first morning urine of the day.

2. Remove the test from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. Avoid touching any part of the test other than the pink handle.
3. Point the test in the direction of the arrows and dip it into the urine sample, making sure the test is not submerged past the MAX line.
4. Hold the test vertically in the sample for at least 10-15 seconds.
5. Remove the test from the sample and lay it flat on a dry, clean and non-absorbent surface.
6. Start the timer.
7. Leave the test for 5 minutes.
8. Read the results. Do not read the results after 15 minutes.

When you take a test, you should see the control line (C) appear close to the pink handle 5 minutes after sampling (it may even appear sooner). This tells you that the test worked.
• Positive result: Two colored lines appear, one at the test line (T) position and another at the control line (C) position.
• Negative result: Only one colored line appears in the control line (C) position. No colored line in the test line (T) position.
• Invalid result: Absence of a colored line in the control line (C) position is an invalid result. You should repeat with a new test.
