Our Thread Protectors are a great looking and safe muzzle device for featureless rifles in restricted states. They can be installed in two different directions (one end has a slight taper) for better barrel match up on most AR barrel profiles. Machined from 7075 aluminum and then hard coat anodized after a heavy acid etch process which dulls the machined surface to provide a superior protective finish. Also available in 303 Stainless Steel. Proudly made in America!
The four hard anodize colors available are black, gray, OD green, and flat dark earth. Please note the ODG and FDE are a proprietary anodize process that mimics those colors and coordinates well with those colors but are not exactly ODG or FDE. Also note that there is some variation batch to batch. The colors look great and coordinate well with other ODG or FDE furniture you may have on your rifle. The gray is a silver gray (similar to pewter) and coordinates with gray and silver parts. We try our best to accurately represent all colors on our website photos.
Our website is a live inventory system. If you are able to choose your color and add it to your cart, then we have it in stock and can ship from our warehouse. If you don't see the color you want, then it is out of stock (sorry no backorders; we don't like selling things we don't have). Please send us an email with your request and we will reply as quickly as we can concerning lead time.

These are approximate transit days from USPS and are NOT guaranteed (USPS is good but not perfect). Please also note that USPS transit days are just the travel days and do not include our order processing time (in other words, the transit time DOES NOT start on the day you place your order).
