Overall very good. I did 2-3 hours of research prior to purchasing. The reviews on several scooters were immensely helpful. This was the cheapest one with air-filled tires, which you will want. The top speed is realistically only 11-13mph and the battery will only last 20-30 mins. FABULOUS light display, adjustable colors, great for nighttime use. Handle is perhaps a little high for short people. The standing platform is wide enough and is not slippery. Braking is excellent. Includes a bell but not rear view mirrors, so you will want to buy them from another seller. I recommend a helmet with flashing lights, also. It is hard to tell when the tires will need re-inflation, as you have to press them reeeeally hard to check (I read that you should not try a pressure gauge, as it will release too much air). Will accommodate all weights. Very good handling. Several reviews noted poor construction and/or battery failure with all brands, but this unit is excellent with my daily use around the neighborhood. Manual pushing is a workout due to it's heavy weight; this is not a child's toy. You can't really carry it because it's heavy weight and large size, but this contributes to it's good road worthiness. I- surprisingly- get compliments every day. I checked the manufacturer's website, where they say to buy directly from them to get a better warranty, but I use Amex and it doubles the warranty, so I saved $50 from the Amazon seller (whoever/wherever they are). I wouldn't buy "refurbished," as you just get someone else's trouble. If you want to ride long distances on the road, you will need to double your investment from $300 to $700 to get a more powerful 750 watt battery and even larger wheels and a seat (like the Hitway). This one is not easily locked up for secure parking, so think about that. I hope this helps!
