Recently, the National Hydrogen Equipment Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center has obtained approval from the State Administration for Market Regulation to be established in the Xitaihu Science and Technology Industrial Park in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The project commands a total investment of 320 million yuan and is situated in the core area of the "Two Lakes" Innovation Zone at the planned location of "Changzhou Hydrogen Bay."
Upon completion, the center will center on standard applications for hydrogen equipment products such as vehicle liquid hydrogen tanks and fixed vacuum-insulated liquid hydrogen pressure vessels. It will also formulate corresponding inspection requirements.
In recent years, Wujin has been vigorously developing a comprehensive hydrogen energy industry chain that spans production, storage, transportation, and utilization. A slew of policy documents have been released to bolster this sector. At present, more than 50 enterprises related to the hydrogen energy industry have congregated in the district. These enterprises have formed an integrated industrial chain that encompasses hydrogen production and storage/transportation systems, fuel cell and key component manufacturing, battery system development, vehicle manufacturing, and refueling station operation - covering all aspects from production to inspection.
