Are velvet chairs comfortable?

I bought this because I was putting together my home office, and the office chair I had was 1) so uncomfortable, I couldn't sit there and work all day, even getting up every 30 mins! By 2:30, I was in so much pain, I'd move to my bed to lay down and work. And 2) ugly. So I got this chair. First it showed up so quickly! It said it would take 3ish weeks, but I got it in a week. Second, it was very quick and easy to put together! The only issue was putting the wheels on, but then I realized you just kinda had to really push them in and they snapped into place. Thirdly, the color is amazing, and looks just like the pictures! This chair is really pretty. Lastly, SO.COMFORTABLE! The back comes up to right below my shoulders (I'm 6' so maybe on shorter people it will come up higher) but offers a lot of support! And the seat is wide, and the perfect combination of soft and supportive. The first day I had it, I worked all day and had NO PAIN. It was amazing. I love this chair!

I personally would not ever recommend this chair to anyone. It’s cute but it’s from China and requires some assembly. I’m not afraid to assemble things but classic cheap stuff from China one of the wheels would not go in. The gold base is also a different shade of gold from the wheels and it came with a piece that has no instructions to where it should go AND is a different shade of gold from the base and wheels. Their is no way to take this chair apart and return so all I can do is warn people it’s not worth taking a chance on this chair.
